Mal was zur Angst

„ If Spitting Image had continued for another year or two I think this video would have been sent up by those latex puppets perfectly.” gculloty87 vor 5 Monaten

“I forgot how much I loved this when it came out. As a promo - just shown as a regular BBC promo - it was amazing. That it did so well for Children In Need made it better. What I love is that the artists are used brilliantly for their vocals rather than who was big in the gossip mags that week. It's got longevity.“ colinbray vor 4 Monaten

„What a great video, and it's all because you Brits have to pay a license fee?” Monkofmagnesia vor 5 Monaten

„I mean, think about it! All we're getting is BBC One, BBC Two, BBC Three, BBC Four, CBBC, CBeebies, BBC News, BBC Parliament, BBC HD, BBC Red Button, BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1X, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 5, BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio 7, BBC Radio A, BBC Local Radio, BBC Radio Nan Gaidheal, BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio Cymru, BBC Radio Ulster Foyle, BBC Online, BBC iPlayer and BBC Mobile! That's nowhere near enough content to justify the fifth(!) lowest license fee in Europe!” MrKingsandCastles vor 4 Monaten 2

“when you see production like this, you don't mind the license fee so much.”
blueandy99 vor 6 Monaten 50

“This is a spectacular, entertaining, intriguing, amusing, fun version. Great mix of musicians, fun execution, and people are pissing and moaning and bitching and posting complaints? The world has far too many wankers (Wichser ) with far too much negativity.” pbridge1300 vor 4 Monaten

So do I! Auch nicht übel:

Da gibt es aber auch noch Autoren, die meinen:

„It is a song about disappointment. The singer is eternally kept hanging on, but inevitably disappointed - likely because the person did not stay clean from drugs. The "perfect day" is sarcasm, and which is conveyed but the depressing nature of the music and the singer's voice. The singer is, but cleaning the person up - like in the movie Trainspotting where he is dragged to the hospital. Basically, it is a song you'd sing if you'd left your friend/lover because of his/her drug problem, later taken them back, and then had them ruin an anniversary date in order to go shoot-up. Basically, not a very happy song. : ) - J, Calgary, AB
